The Checklist Manifesto « Atul Gawande 2010-02-01 (#)-> book kiv 2010 "Gawande begins by making a distinction between errors of ignorance (mistakes we make because we don’t know enough), and errors of ineptitude (mistakes we made because we don’t make proper use of what we know). Failure in the modern world, he writes, is really about the second of these errors, and he walks us through a series of examples from medicine showing how the routine tasks of surgeons have now become so incredibly complicated that mistakes of one kind or another are virtually inevitable: it’s just too easy for an otherwise competent doctor to miss a step, or forget to ask a key question or, in the stress and pressure of the moment, to fail to plan properly for every eventuality."

cabel.name: Kashiwa Mystery Cafe (#)
-> japan only in japan --- For the record, here are the rules of the Ogori cafe: Let's treat the next person. What to treat them with? It's your choice. Even if it's a group of friends or a family, please form a single-file line. Also, you can't buy twice in a row. Please enjoy what you get, even if you hate it. (If you really, really hate it, let's quietly give it to another while saying, "It's my treat…") Let's say "Thank You! (Gochihosama)" if you find the person with your Ogori cafe card. We can't issue a receipt.

@dirkriehle would like to pass http://www.unipark.de/uc/microblogging to colleagues.. but when i open again.. the text is "Sie haben die Umfrage bereits beendet." - I understand... Better would be a landing page to explain the survey to use for RT-ing a purpose/summary of survey and then check for "duplicate participation" on another page ! (#)
someone ( hejianjohnriver ) has added comments (SPAM) to many posts in a group am subscribing.. because of this, all these posts have appeared on my homepage... When I block the user, WIBNI the posts go back to their previous position :-) OR what will happen when the user/comments are deleted ? (#)
-> now... ff should consider providing another sort option - sort by post timestamp only (instead of comment timestamp )
-> @Olive - Are you taking about scenario where someone could have hacked the account ? Then maybe friendfeed can delete all posts/comments from a certain timestamp and reset the password and thus the hacker will be logged off !
Paul at http://friendfeed.com/paul/3fab3000/assume-that-i-m-going-to-get-rid-of-20-000-and-my states "Bonus points for giving your answer in ranked order" :-) It would be very useful if ff lets me 1) enter multiple answers as individual comments and rank them - perhaps in another view 2) show only comments of certain users - usecase: I like a comment from 1 user and want to see (only) other comments from the same user - maybe highlight other comments from same user.. (#)
-> user's comment and only want to see this user's comments among _lots_ of comments e.g., 1 good comment in Paul's post and want to see more from this user..
Ever since I saw the video at http://github.com/blog/411-github-issue-tracker , I have started expecting(wishing) every service i love/value and every service that _seems to_ value/love users (and feedback) collect feature requests and issues in a similar manner as the github issues... Please see a showcase at http://github.com/colladude/friendfeed/issues (#)
-> http://github.com/colladude/friendfeed/issues
-> The most significant feature is "Sort by" - Right now, only the admin can drag and drop to change priority... Others can only vote... I really wish that something similar is possible at http://friendfeed.com/friendfeed-feedback and becomes just another feature use-able at any group...
